As a personal experience of the AI... they are now incredible shooters, especially at 'veteran' and 'ace' setting. Regarding flying abilities they just show more variety, but are not necessarly 'better'.

This is a personal oppinion. I didn't have to do anything with AI development, other than testing, so I guess, I can tell my impressions on a independantly base. :)

Anyone getting a crash at 5% loading? Can't remember what that is a symptom of. Wrong exe perhaps... :(

When the news about the last minute broke out I was certain that we won't see 4.11 for 2 more months at best. Glad I was wrong! :)

I only hope the hot fix won't be too long and too big. ;)

Try to redownload (maybe another mirror) and reinstall.
Also as suggestion: unpack the EXE via WinRar or 7Zip and put all the files manually to your main game folder, overwrite existing files.

Have tested it against the AI under different conditions, and I have no CTD or a strange AI behaviour. All is fine fr me, no strange textures or other stuff.

Do the people install this patch to a "clean" il2 install or a modded one?!

mines clean hope for the same results.

We in the team could repoduce the chrashing as well.
