OK, so I tested further and the fuel use is only tied to throttle possition. Did a flight rigged very dirty, radiator open, gear down, flaps down, rudder slipball off-center, high throttle possition... there was no difference in fuel comsumtion flying dirty, over flying clean....... So my question to Oleg still stand's, if SOW will have this same model in a game that will be full of fuel concerns, or are you planning some new model of fuel use?

If you think about it- fuel use would be tied to throttle position as the throttle controls the amount of fuel into the engine :D

You may gain more endurance i.e time in the air at low RPM & throttle but would you get more range.

We would need to know the long range cruise speeds and min drag (clean)speeds for each type

Well, word has it that you will be able to land, get out and retrieve a special blessing from an Orthodox monk in the far north of England. With this blessing you will be able to control the weather to boost your range or even wreck entire German squadrons...

I dunno, maybe if the Monk has the correct FM this might work but I have a feeling he may be classed as Uber :wink:

Will there ever be a way to turn air padlock off and leave ground target padlock on or vice versa? I have much fun flying with out air padlock, but then it makes it too tough to see anything on the ground....

I agree with Abbeville-Boy- there has been a lot of discussion, sometimes high emotion on the subject from both sides. I think it might be helpful to know the game creator's feelings about that situation.
