TrackIR can (but it is VERY tricky) be on a PS3.
But both consoles will have cameras soon (PS3 already has PS eye), so it can be simulated.
But those cameras are not popular...

Yep, it will happen. It won't be TrackIR, but the 360 will have Natal, which is their motion tracking camera, and head tracking is just one of many ways they can implement Natal into traditional gaming.

Whether or not developers implement it is another question, but the technology will definitely be there on the 360 in a major way. MS is talking about launching Natal as if they were launching a new system.

But it is not launched yet.

Anyone else figure out that you get little achivement cards if you do a specfic maneuvers? like a Split-S and Barrel Roll and Emelmann(sp)...i dunno how many there are...its a challenge!!

You make a good point about the camera (esp 360 one), that would be a perfect setup for view control with the added bonus of not wearing anything goofy.
