if you'r not in this thread to have the common courtesy to provide some positive feedback for luthier hard (and very un-thankful ) work in the last 2 years, then your in the wrong place and i'd suggest you kindly bugger off somewhere else

So you think it's right to defend people who brake the rules but find it okay to berate those who point out the trolling, oh the irony!

Ignorance can also be swinging from CLoDs nuts and thanking them for a 1/2assed attempt of a WWII flight game. Ignoring how many got hoodwinked. Ignoring the lack of dev input. Ignoring the fact CLoD is/was a failure.

But go ahead and get upset with people that dont bow down to a dev team that cant get their game working without (maybe) selling you a new game...to....er....fix the old one.

But dont get too hurt, according to history the devs dont read this forum anyway. I am sure they wont see the insults.

Please show me another game that for £30 gives you the same or more aicraft with that level of system detail, the same detail of DM and a quite good landscape!

So the only problem was the performance that given time would have been improved!

Ignorance clearly is bliss, a half assed ww2 sim that gave more detail to most areas than any other ww2 sim out there, but somehow the devs didn't give us anything... Get a brain and grow up!

You don't have to bite so don't. It's simple, there are three types of fanboys as I see it:

1 - Vocal in their support for the developer despite how bad the original program is and how the developers communicate with their fan base.

2 - Accept what's what and just get on with it - the majority now that the final patch is here.

3 - Who want to love the game but are very vocal in what they think about how the game was released or has been managed.

None of the groups have a divine right to be "right" more than the others, none have a monopoly on stupidity and all can be vicious at times. The OP just seems designed to get a bite so is provocative - that's my view.

If it wasn't meant to get an adverse reaction then it's pretty crazy not to review it before posting - the way these boards are pretty much the only responses you'd get is +1 or your head bitten off.

As for the OP, sure Luthier may have done a good job but we'll never know, only surmise. If we knew the whole story then we'd be able to assess it, but that isn't 1C's way, is it?
