Depending on each one's attitude it's better either to just go on reporting other/additional bugs apart from this well known one, or to just sit back and relax until a hotfix or even 4.11.1 is out. Best regards - Mike |
The current CTD issue with 4.11 has been acknowledged to be a major problem.
It didn't happen before on all testing and cought us now quite a bit by surprise. It will be adressed imidiatly. Thanks for the reports! |

looks so bad. |
G'day Guys,
Just a bit of positive feedback for you. At this stage I have suffered only one lock up with the new patch. The version of the game was running at my native screen res 1680 x 1050. This also had the external Dgen programme with it. The lock up happened after I had followed a bandit down and crashed myself. But after a system reboot I was able to fly with/with TrackIR and various QMB and FMB with no further locks or any CTD's My other version is also the stock version with a screen res of 1280 x 768. I at the time of writing this have the game patched to 4.11 and just completed a full mission from one of the stock campaign mission from wheels up to pancake. Touch wood, no CTD with this version. I downloaded the IL2_411_INT file via the torrent link. I hope this may help in some way to nail down what the problem might be. Love the work guys!!! ~S~ |

The CTD bug is almost certainly real and not mod related.

one of my squad mates want to do that. |
Soviet AAA with name changes (such as the Soviet 37mm AA Gun M1939 61-K) still fires at enemy aircraft in QMB missions when the Defense option is set to None. Tested this in Smolensk, both with Scramble and Target:Airbase missions.
EDIT: US AAA operates as advertised, but German AAA also fires when AAA is turned off. I've checked most stock QMB maps, as well as all of the ones I've created, and those are the only nationalities I've found so far that this happens to. Thank you, otherwise, for a Wonderful product! |
