Just got a crash in the airplane selection screen.

THAT'S BETA GAME CRASH!

PLEASE, I bought the game a YEAR ago, and I haven't played since I'm still wating for the various bugs to get fixed!

You're getting an average FPS of 35 with everything on full and you're complaining? :D

I've recently been getting crashes on startup... every once in awhile, when I click the icon to start up the game, the crosshair and plane thingy appears off to the side and then the launcher fails...click the icon again and the game loads up as normal.... never did it until recently. Something tells me it must be something I have done as there haven't been any updates.

Could it be something you have done?

The patch is coming..... just when it is ready! Patience and all that... and yep! I bought it a year ago as well. :)

I really haven't found the reason, but the game does not run in a consistent manner. One day it is smooth like silk the other day has pauses and hickups with stutter even NOTHING has been changed in game settings or in the system. Even consequent runs can be different! Shouldn't a game run the same, at least offline, every time?

Yeah... I've noticed the same. :) Sometimes I can even get away with having shadows on with minimal FPS drop. Strange......

I've even noticed it runs smoother when I am using facetracknoir instead of the hat switch.... which makes no sense at all really, considering I am using more resources. I'm wondering.... is it just me or is there more grass when Shadows are turned on? :D

I think its the nature of the memory leaks, and how they happen, not always the same depending on what you are doing in game, perhaps they are related to a certain plane or function... I will get slow downs for no good reason as well. Its just the nature of the problems I think.

No point in making any sense of it at this point, let's just wait and see what the graphics patch will do.

I have set up the revi sight increase decrease wing span, to my rshift-F2 and F3 keys and unbind them from the out side view.
But when I use the rshiftF2 and F3 keys it takes me outside view, how is that possible I cleared that view setting.

She's still flying....

Well, I also noted that the conf.ini files are different too sometimes. And it was not long time ago when I double checked that both are exactly same. So it is Steam Cloud or something that does it. Maybe should just adjust everything as wanted, save it to Steam cloud and then shut it off.

Sorry I am retracting this thread. thow it on the rubbish heap.

Kodiak had a look at my script and pointed out I was calling it once and not each time a player entered the mission

All good it works.
