I'm very sad to say this, but with the latest beta patch I only get "Launcher.exe has detected a problem and it will close" and can't play. I've never had any problems with the game with the previous patches, so there is something definitely wrong with this patch.

CPU Intel QuadCore Q9650
Ait HD5870
4Gb RAM
Windows 7 x64

EDIT: I reinstalled previous beta patch, and then this one and it worked. I'm impressed because I started a quick flight over LE HAVRE and I had NO STUTTERING at all, however, when flying over the city I think I got a bit less FPS as before (specially over the industrial area at Le Havre). Keep the good work guys. I'm proud of having bought the game on it's collector's edition at day 1 at my local store!

Try to delete the conf.ini it may fix the problem.It worked for me sometimes.

Thanks for the tip! However I already deleted the whole "Documents\1C Softclub" folder, so the game could generate all files again, but it didn't work.

I'll keep trying though.

Okay here goes.

Running the Sim I launch CloD and then go to Single Mission.

Choosing the Bomber intercept and then launching the Mission by pressing "Fly" takes me to the aircraft loadout screen, after which the game launches.

After this I see a Black Screen and the Mouse-pointer and nothing happens.

Now, pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del takes me to the Task manager and on the Taskbar I can see the Cliffs of Dover Icon (meaning the game is running).

If I then click the Icon on the taskbar, I go back into the game and the Mission is Running and I am able to fly.

Currently this is the only way I get it to play.

Windows 7 64-Bit Ultimate. Nvidia 560Ti - Twin Frozr II and latest Drivers, Asus P6X58DE, 12Gb Corsair Dominator Ram.

Over the sea, frame-rate is smooth, not tried landscape yet.

i just took out all the files and let steam redownload them, game works fine now .... big sigh of relief....

My solution with launcher fail :: dont uninstall game and reinstall, just take out all the files in the steam/steamapps/common/il2cliffsofdover file and the go to steam library, properties of the game select to verify cache intergrity, the files will be missing and steam will replace... this worked for me ..

it wasnt the beta's fault just mine not knowing how to install..so not gonna make that mistake anymore,

looking forward to the developers releaseing the patch and letting steam take care of it !! :grin:

1 ) Now I Can't exit from all mission and I need force the close by CTRL+ALT+CANC...(button exit don't work)
2) One of my friend can't use some Buttons in this game.....
3) the Frame rate in multiplayer Is very low than previous version... and I dont see any one of the Fixed bug or improvement in the list of this beta... I am very unhappy!

4) The ammo loadout still don't work. Bombs and gun are not loaded
5) I see graphic errors in the sea and on the coast (some long lines)
6) The copilot is unusefull if there is no possible to release bomb... the crazy thing is that the only pilot can release the bombs and the copilot shoud stay not in the gunsight position.. what is the sence of the copilot?
7) Another my friend can't select plane on all maps...
8 ) I have button errors in the menu of the game (sometimes I can't open some menus)
9) Another my friend can't save command key
10) On the ju-88 the bombs are released at random and not every time that I press the button on joy or on the keyboard!
11) On the BR-20 I can't open bombs door.
the list is very long and every time that we try some mission we can't do a flight!!!!!!
I am also unhappy because every beta they do one step forward.. and two backward.... and if all of us say here: "wait wait..they will fix all bugs" is not encouraging if this are the results!

as I Think.... on the ubi store they should write that the game is still a beta with many bugs because all new man that will buy this simulator will come here very angry :-D

My supposed fix of zeroing the Steam sound in the mixer doesn't work after all.

Some problems with stuttering on the cities, also the trees don't appear again if you try to play with video settings. The onboard AA don't work good, I tried with 4x and 2x in the nvidia cp and it works definitely smoother fps. Except the trees and the buildings, and no grass and no roads, the other settings are maxed out gtx 570 win7 64b.

No changes in performance in single player, but now, for the first time, i'm having stutters in multiplayer.
