This pics are great, but not from the in-game renderer, although they do obviously use the in-game models. I'm still hoping for some more complex lighting in the final game, as was shown in some previous shots (my very own pet peeve ;)). Makes a huge difference to the appearance and the result could be pretty close to what these screens show.

Oh and thanks to NSU for posting them!

So a Russian girl is advertizing a game about a conflict between Great Britain and Germany wearing an American Betty Page outfit?? There is so much wrong with that...

Changing the CoD dark blue stream colour to a greenish shade could be an "easy" solution to that issue.

And adding a rusty hue to the railway tracks. ;)

She won't bore you with those details ! ; ))

Also rail lines are highly reflective especially in moonlight, but i suspect that's too much to ask for :)

WW2 progressed the same way to. Russia grinding it out from the east and the allies from the west. Coincidental? Hardly think so. Me thinks Oleg is a romantic.

Nice pic, surprised you could see it with your head in the clouds :P

Maybe in il2 version 3 in 2021 we might see that (now look whose head are in the clouds  )

Meusli,

I found a work-around for the more computer equipment one: get a good case and just keep updating the innards...
I've done two complete upgrades in the last 5 years without my wife knowing :D
So long as I keep using the same case I don't think she'll ever suspect anything...

I did have to do the whole sales-job thing to get a new monitor though...

Was thinking the same thing...

Komm schließlich von da! ;)
But in English a Strom is called major or large river, so its a multiculti misunderstanding ;)

What?

If a 'Strom' is called a major or large river in English
and in English a stream is smaller that a river...

how does Stream mean Strom?

I don't speak German, but on the evidence posted I suggest that 'Stream' in English does not mean 'Strom' in German.

Someone posted, in English, that a stream was bigger than a river. They got it wrong, never mind, let's move on.

@kg26_alpha - the photograph can't be compared to what human eye can see. I think too many people here rely solely or in major part to what they saw on the photos/film. In reality things look diferently. One clear example is the perception of depth (which you can't simulate on 2d screen) and it could be done as Rodolphe has shown, the other is perception how tracers realy look like. As far as dynamics of colors and or their hue/saturation, I'm afraid if the release date is realy 25th of March, then there is no time to change that. I'm no expert in programming, but I would presume this is major change in the rendering engine. But there are numerous posibilities on the graphic card settings though...

speaking of tracers - I've been shooting browning 12.7 mm MG from aircraft in my military days, and I can tell you, that they are very acurately modeled in IL-2 already, so I expect that they remain the same or better in COD.

Very high contrast B&W makes a huge difference in photography if that was a colour photograph the tracks wouldn't look so brilliant. It also would depend on the time of day, is it overcast or not etc.
