Launcher crashes leaving quick missions and when exiting the game.
High octane RAF Performance a big improvement. 109 level banking performance at lower speeds more realistic for the wingtip configuration and performance relates better to the lower octane. I hope the higher octane 109 models come later. Performance wise 28-30 fps average setttings very high at low alt over London still with 2-3 micro pauses per second .I tried all types of settings ,medium being the most fluid at low level and the pop up trees are still there. Have to try psudo mode yet and will report if I find any changes . Other than the launcher crashes and over sensative rudder ,much better performance for me. The game unfortunately is stil lacking a decent Coop GUI . |
launcher crashes on missions restart, in campaign and quick mode.
Always the same framerate...and a single card is still better than a sli config. Sli working better just with nvidia 3D vision on set at minimum depth. At higher depths there's a beach appearing on coasts...and a mess of shadows and artefacts. Convergence for every different view is still a problem... |

Also Bf110C used 100oct, but not modelled. Anyways adding a bit to the tree bug. Yesterday played a bit on ATAG and noted that when I spawned my plane everything was nice and dandy. In short trees in place and all that. I took off from Tramencourt and began to head off for the targets and outside a radius of the base all trees were gone and could not be seen except inside the "LOD Sphere". When I returned to base same thing, almost all trees were there. Anyone noticed this? |

Here is a screen shot from QMB (Bomber Intercept Hawkindge) don't know when this started to appear but it is there now, twin rail tracks England to France. No it's not the 'Chunnel" this is on the surface, see if anyone else has this.

I'm experiencing a "blind distance" where objects suddenly become invisible.
I used to have a lot troubles with my SA and then I read a post saying that lowering resolution and changing VisibilityDistance=5 would help, I did so, and it did work, targets in distance look much bigger. But when I'm approaching targets, they suddenly disappear and come out of no where when I get closer (often on my 6, LOL). Just flew ATAG. Always have a ball, although sometimes I want to throw a tantie, like tonight when a 109 crashed into me. He couldn't get a bead on me so I think that was the only way for him to take me down. Anyway, I digress, I wanted to say that a couple of times, I swear a 109 disappeared in front of me. A couple dove towards the ground and suddenly they vanish. I know people have had this before but I haven't. The 109 smashing into me didn't vanish... I wish that bugger did though.

Hey guys. Back from 3 Months holyday :)
I was deeply disapointed when starting cod with new patch yesterday. Stutering like never before :( I searched a litle bit in the forum and found the solution with microsoft .NET Framework 4 and directx, which made me happy again:) But ive got a bug, or at least i think its one, when diving. The cool sound when fast diving is not here anymore :( Does anybody share this problem? Solution? Cheers :) |

The diving sound was adjusted so it is not on/off anymore like before. |
The High speed sound is now progressive ..... much better imo.

@dreamofire: 5th line from the bottom: MeshShowLod=0
Try changing the "0" to "1" ie. MeshShowLod=1 This reduces/eliminates the disappearing act as the pixel transitions to a LOD rendering. However, you may find you will be paying a price in frame rate reduction and may wish to change back. Good luck. |
were the patch notes released....if so where can they be found....if not...how are the users supposed to beta test this...for all we know most of the bugs that we "find" could have simply been known issues that would have been stated in the patch notes....

Not all hitsounds are present online. Flew Spitfire and got hit in the wing, but no sound whatsoever. Noted damage after seeing it appear. Only occasionally heard some sounds when was hit by gunfire. |
HELP: Engines don´t start
I have seen this problem with other users:
Starting from the ground the engine of the Spitfire don´t start, making all the engine proccess and finally when you press "I" the engine starts but stops again. Also with autopilot, and happens the same with the rest of the squadron, the AI can not take off the planes. All trying to take off and some of them crashing one to each other. I try with the Hurrycane and after trying 3 times I get the engine on but the rest of the squadron can not do it. Its a funny situation, 10 planes on the ground trying to put the engine on and they can not take off. Any solution for that? It happens after installing this last patch. |

Tried JT Dawg's fix, no luck.. I was getting average of 40 fps.. Worse thing for me tho is visibility. I have a 42" HD LED TV and I never had problems seeing aircraft, now as soon as they fly over land, they compleeeetly disappear. :/ You know, I'd gladly upgrade my rig, but I'm starting to lose hope a little, I think. Too many issues.. |

Flickering smoke & I have also noticed the AI can't get there engines to stay running during the start of missions.

This has probably been mentioned but my Hurricanes and Me 109s open with engines going, I must stop and restart them, and then the AC refuse to move. At least my Bf 110 works while the techies scramble. I hope they get it fixed as I dearly love this sim. I have RoF to play with, meanwhile.

Did you make sure that your prop pitch is at 12:00 or full fine. In online missions it's bugged and the prop pitch clock will wind down on it's own to 9:00 full coarse and the plane won't move.

I fly with auto engine management..and the 110 works fine. Also, with no foward movement of the AC the prop would be feathered..or are you having me on?? Thanks for your reply..I did check the Hurri instrument panel and, so far, have not found the prop control. I really fly for fun and to feel the history books I love. Cheers..!!

Turn the Park brake off ... I think they are now spawning with Park Brake set. (Hurris that is)

The game got definitely worse for me with this beta patch (I did not try the previous version of the beta patch): I now have frequent launcher crashes and micro stutters are back.

Sadly, the real issue is now I have frequent CTD's where before I had almost none.
Frame rates good, but still crunch to the 14-18 mark with multiple planes over land. Without everything on high, but that I am sure I could play about with the settings. |

Can't seem to get permission for takeoff, always denied. Sound track for denied landing/takeoff can't be found by game (don't know if the same for approved landing/takeoff because i've never been approved lol)

Is there a way to prevent pre-warming in the cross-country mission ?
I just went from 1.05 to 1.07 and I liked how it was callenging to take-off with the Bleinheim : with the strong wind from the left, you had to put the left engine at 50% and go full-throttle with the right one in order to stay in line : if you didn't warmed enough your oil, you broke you engine or command. It was fun and challenging. Now with the pre-warmed oil, it's just too easy :( |

Try vsync and download Radeon Pro to set up custom profiles. Post your current CAT driver & CAP profile if you are using one? Try these settings if you download Radeon Pro, I was using 8.98 april 18 betas but they would sometime turn off crossfire during windows login. Helped to stabilize my frames from the game stuttering. I would crank in game settings to max with vsync, SSAO 4x Anti Ep filter off in the .ini. Your card is more then capable. I did a RAM drive for some bob files and the ground textures, buildings and trees renders correctly now.
