Raw Kryptonite 04-06-2009 12:56 AM

To get back on topic, I'll volunteer 3..er... 4 more questions. :-P

1)Will we deal with limited fuel in single player and multiplayer?

2)Is there a P-38 to fly? ;)

3)How is navigation handled? On screen indicators, map/HUD or written mission directions etc. How do we find where we're going in the game?

4)Can we confirm that there is co-op and is it the campaign or other? How many people can be involved?

Thanks Anton!

Thanks Anton!

I saw in a gameplay video a guy pulling up a map while in flight.
Similar to the original I believe.

1) Can you see replays of your gameplay

2)Can you save your replays offline online, like on the pc, people make beautiful movies

3)Can you make a privite room online to play around in with a friend

One simply question.
Can we make custom missions for multiplayer like in the original IL2.
If it is not. Will there be any kind of DLC in the future to make it possible?.
I think it would give an endless gameplay to BOP.

There is an editor

Yes there willl be a "Mission Editor" in the game.
I heard you can fit a lot of planes and targets in it.:)

Will there be any sort of practice feature that lets you take off in a plane and just fly around for fun and then land again? It would be nice in-between missions to be able to take any of the planes for a flight and just fly around and look at the beautiful landscapes without fear of getting shot at.

Thanks for any info....

Anton did say there would be a training mode, but I'm sure you could just use the mission editor for that. Like for just flying, flying in formation, and of course missions.

Wow, i'd never heard about this mission editor?

That's good news!

Without the mission editor this would not be IL-2. Did you ever play the original? This is Great News

I would like to see if Anton can confirm that point about the mission editor. I really enjoyed with the original IL2 mission editor, if it is confirmed it will really be great to have one on BOP.With that feature available we can have BOP for a long time and create a good community of mission makers.

Then there could be DLC packs with more airplanes, maps... and with those graphics BOP has a great potential.
I was even thinking that with those great detailed maps there could be playable vehicles in later expansions. Tanks, maybe infantry... Just an idea.
