Just a quick question as I've been away from these forums for a good while and not tried IL2 CoD for as long too until last night for another look ... I'm aware of a big work-over patch being worked on as posted in this thread and I'm on patch v1.05.15950 that I'd have got from Steam, but is there a newer beta patch I should be on or at least trying while waiting for a newer official patch?

I bought IL2 Cod on day one and knew it had potential even then, but I've been out of the loop and had a fair blast flying it last night and again this morning.

I have to admit that I didn't read the full title of the thread properly (Can't find my specs) and nearly lost bladder control...... only to find it was referring to the last patch.

LOL ... I've just had a big lecture from pupu162 in PM because he thought it might be new news too (he could have handled it better though) as I've mentioned I'm only picking up interest in the sim again and decided to post here to see if there was any new beta patch news over my last official patch.

But yeah, now that I look at my post and its date, it was a long time from the last one for regulars to read ... but I'm sure if there was any major new news it would be worthy of a separate thread.

Sorry if I built anyone's hopes up, maybe threads like this should be closed after a certain period of inactivity until the next update?

Us Flight Simmers are certainly a passionate group and I would like to see an update for this sim as much as anyone.

I think too its good we bump threads like this some times, it lets Luthier know we are still wondering and waiting and haven't given up hope on the sim we want as good as possible.
