No mission in the current game, would support their being a Lancaster. The main objective of the Lancaster, was bombing Berlin at night. No mission in the current game has you bombing Berlin or the rest of Germany at night. Don't get me wrong, I like the Lancaster, and think it's a great bomber. But really, there have already been dozens and dozens of people asking for it. Maybe searching in "Suggestions to devs" up at the top of the forum would help you see what has already been asked?

Read this back to yourself and see what 'input' you put in.

I haven't got time to sit through forums searching for things and i sure as hell won't do things just to please the geeks.

End it there shall we my friend.

Sure, I wasn't trying to drag it on. I was just stating why the Lancaster shouldn't be in the game. I think I made my point clear through most of it. You just seemed to have taken the part where I was just tired of hearing the same thing over again.

But like you said, it's over, no need to continue. :D

Anyone see the Lancaster (1 of 2 flyable) fly over Lords Cricket ground yesterday for the England vs Australia ODI? That was seriously cool!

No didn't see that. I do remember a couple of years back, I was playing cricket for my club and suddenly this Lancaster apeared and the pilot was really chucking it around with steep banks and climbs, We all kinda stopped playing and watched for a minute. Never even knew it could fly like that. I guess it was being tested for some reason. It was pretty amazing to see.

There are 2 left Flying in the World, and 8 no-flying in museums. One in England, and one in Canada. I was very lucky this past July to see the Canadian Lanc flying at the Cold Lake Airshow in Alberta. Like the post above, I too was amazed at the sortie this 60 year old bomber was able to fly. Tight 80 degree banked corners, steep dives and asentions. Of course it is doing it with no load in the fusalage, but still every manuver was amazing to watch.

Abso-god-damn-lutly i would like to see the lancaster in it!!!! If its not i will have to ask wtf is the company for this game thinking!!!!! It was the best night bomber of wwii and don't get me started in how important it would be to this game. Come on if they have a b-17 they have to have a lancaster!!!!!! Its a must, if not in the reall game, at least downloadable content. Even if its 10 bucks in microsoft points i will buy it. So will a million and one other people!!!!!!!!!! Trust me god dammit!!!!!!

I seen the flying one in Canada today (actually i see it at least once every week because i basically live under its standard flight path) it was flying in formation with a B-25/CF-18 HORNET and a CT-144 TUTOR, What i sight i tell you, AMAZING!!!!
