What is type of TV? Mine hasn't done it at all. Maybe its just your TV getting old, but it could be just the pixilation or something? (I'm not really a TV expert, I just plug it in and watch )

I bought my 52" phillips LCD 1080p last year.
Several other ps3 people have had the same issue.

I just have a little 23" or so, and it's nothing special. But it does the job :D I'll be sure to tell you if there's any tearing in my screen when I get the full version. But the demo has given me no problems.

Someone else said it is because my screen refreshes at 60hz instead of the better 120hz but who knows.

You already got it? Where are you from?

That would be bogus if it is just the ps3 version that is doing this. Like SovietAce says he has no problems and several other people as well. It looks like it is a mixed bag.

It can't be a mixed bag. As someone posted before, screen tearing has nothing to do with your TV, it's in the game. People who aren't noticing it are either blind or oblivious.

Yes I thought this as well. I hope they can fix this though.

I am from france and the official release date here is today (sept 3rd).
But I know somebody working in a videogame shop that allowed me to get it yesterday just after their delivery :-P

And the screen tearing is in the game everyone has it!
