Now I have a 60 inch with 120 hrtz and the tearing is not in the those games anymore. There are a 1 or 2 games I still have some small tearing in and I would say they are in the game and not from the tv. It could be either. But your Tv could be making it worse.

Ok I just tore into my manual and my screen refreshes at 60hz. I hope it is the demo though because I have never seen any game that I have do screen tearing.

Last night I took the spit up above the clouds and pointed the nose into the blue sky so there was nothing on my screen and it still tore. It looks the worst when the camera centers back on the cockpit. The canopy is tearing.

I see this, as well. It happens the most in cockpit view.

I'm sorry guys but it REALLY isn't your tv! It is programming... To keep the framerate up it is either slowdown or tearing. I am a PS3 owner and i always get pissed by screen tearing. A good friend of mine explained it all with a lot of technical yabber, but trust me it is NOT your tv, it is your PS3! Better said programming for the PS3 is still a big challenge.:|

And there was me thinking that my 50" was just the right size for this game, damn you trk29, now I'll have to sit closer to my screen to compete.

The best solution is to get an LCD projector. If anyone says there Tv is wider than your projection, just back it up!:-P
