SoW is another thing. Let's hope UBI (or whoever is publishing BoB in the end) does a good job regarding marketing of SoW:BoB. So far they have done almost nothing so I hope that someone is planning something somewhere...

Regards /Mazex

Oleg is developing AND publishing SoW via his own company Maddox Games, which is in partnership with 1C. Look at the top left hand logo of this forum.

I hope your right Codex, but I've never seen anything to confirm that. I believe UBI is still very much involved. :(

 Yep your right Chivas.

I assumed that by Oleg no longer posting at UBI and no mention of UBI in any of the SoW video's on the Bonus 1946 DVD I assumed it would be all done via 1C. I apologise to all.

UBI already had a contract for releasing the SOW-series, while other games will be published by Atari outside the Russian market.

Regarding SoW, it was stated several times, that UBI put a hold on any informations about the sim, because there were several competitive products to be released. That makes it also more obvious why the little information posted here is not officially posted at the UBIZoo. At the same time, it was said that there will be a massive advertisement campaign as soon as SoW is going into the final lap and is closing in to the release. At that point it would also be impossible for competitors to salvage the information given.

Let's not forget: UBI WANTED this contract, because they knew about the success of the IL2-Series. They have a contract for all further SoW-Releases and they surely won't let this pass.

As I posted several times before: The only people who are more interested in a success of this game than us fanboys, are those who earn their money with it! ;)

Its the publishers job to market the game not the developers. Im sure Oleg has requested the same thing many times. Just think how many unsuspecting newbies bought the crappy sim that is always advertised during the Dogfight series.

S!

That is not how it works mate.... Not free to discuss any details, sorry.

As far as advertising the product, it is really Publishers job.. But in my opinion it all boils down to the prejected numbers of sales... If it was ground based FPS game with the huge audience that sells in millions, i am sure we would see something similar to COD4, etc on TV.
