Just a simple question. How do you change the weapons load out? I have made the dump folder and extracted the '$homeRel' and i'm seeing these weapons in the Aircraft & weapons config files. How do you just swap things around?

Speaking of antimatter guns, fun fact about IL-2 1946:

The ace La-7 Kohzedub aircraft also carries "ShvakANTIMATTER" guns that do massively more damage than the oridinary version of the gun, actually shows Mk103/108 kind of stlye explosions

LOL it's because it's russian, but of course the game wasn't biaised towards Soviet aircrafts ;)

Actually, i seem to remember that all the AI aircraft of the real top aces where artificially "boosted" in IL2. I think they had modified FMs and better guns than the stock versions.
