downloaded 4.11 patchOK-but cannot get the hotfix to go in--says"cannot create DT.dll file access is denied
Thought about getting game from Steam but where does it auto patch to?

after installing the 4.11 Patch i always get CTD during dgen Campain or quick Dogfights.
So i wanted do download the Beta Hotfix Patch from Mediafire but the File is not there anymore.

Is there another place from where i can Download this Hotfix Patch?

Steam does not have the latest versions.

That kind of error sounds like the file was corrupted mid download. You should download it again and try to extract it. You can extract the DT.dll file anywhere and then put it in the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 directory later.

NOTE: If you have the game installed in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) then you may also get this warning as this directory is write protected in Windows Vista/7.

Do I need 4.10 to install this patch?

You don't need the hotfix if you install 4.11.1, is that an option for you?

Both links are down. Where can I get the fix from ? My Il2 4.11.1 crashes to desktop at startup.

You don't need the hotfix with 4.11.1. It is included there.

Did you install all other patches before you installed 4.11.1? Have you tried re-downloading and re-installing 4.11.1?

I had a clean 4.10.1 installation and I applied the 4.11.1 patch
