Saw a good documentary the other day. Apparently the display resolution of a cuttlefishs skin is about 300 dots per millimetre and they can reproduce texture. That should do for a start.

It strapping one of the buggers on your monitor and having him hold still while your flying that is the problem! ;)

Its at 8000 meters, but its buged, they dissapear entire when you go at 7000 or something but they are beautiful to watch at sea level
