Well, my comments had nothing to do with Mr. X skills. They were about the dysfunctional 109 gunsight. I see a new thread has started on that. So good to know I'm not the only one still bothered by this critical issue.:!:

I watched the vid again more closely. He obtaines these burn and burst effects on different distances. Most of them in the range 120-170m and some well less than 100m.

I am so not sure if convergence is really the key here.

I usually never obtain a full hit with explosions with distances below 100m.

i have to ask, what are thsoe glasses the pilot is using? are they shadded? were they ever used in ww2? were they regurlaly used?

im askign this becosue i flew with shaded helmet and you dont loose much of exterior view but you can look directly at the sun.
