S!

Well..could try a small OC to something like 4GHz.Cooler is more than enough for it :-) Just got the damn winter flu raging around so kinda powerless to do anything :-)

Hi Flanker,

go a little bit higher, because the turbo boost is already 3.8GHz. As I said earlier, you can easily go to 4.5GHz. Overcklocking at Sandy Bridge 2500K and 2600K starts at 4.5 GHz.

And I hope you will soon get better.

Finally back on my feet :) Took a damn week to get rid of this flu, tough bugger! So now can get on the tweaking etc. Are there any tips on OC the 2500K as have not been OC for years

Oh sorry,

what I meant is that with this driver version you have an improvement "in CloD".
Improvement related to smoothness and removal of certain artifacts, specialy in the shore lines and beachs.

Salutes.

S!

That system should run any game just fine and the upcoming patch will increase performance further. Please update, will be interesting to see what kind of figures you will get :)

Storm of When 05-01-2012 08:05 AM

I just bought an HiS IceQ 7870 2gb, combined with a PhenomII x4 955BE at 3.7ghz, a Crucial M4 ssd and 8gb of DDR3 1333 ram Im getting an average of around 60fps on a 23" LCD at 1280 x 1024? (my eyes like this setting). Since I swapped from a 4870x2 the game has become far more playabe and it really isn`t as bad as some would lead you to believe. I`m using the 12.4 driver from AMD`s site btw.
