Thanks Cheesehawk. I will look into my problem. If you don't mind me asking what kind of sound gear are you using?

Yeah, not just for COD, newer games will require an upgrade, and don't believe the hype that the desktop / laptop is dead! tablets might be convenient but they're also seriously underpowered .. under everything actually! It'll take 5+ years before tablets get current laptop powers! IMHO

The overwhelming market is mobile and tablet computing. Games for PC's are becoming much more niche cultures now.

No not dead. But businesses are adopting more mobile devices now over the usual desktop. Mobile computing offers so much more to a foot soldier that travels a lot. From everyday business person to your latte yuppie. There is a new tablet out that cost $35 now. hehe I'll use these for a stocking stuffer next Christmas. :)

With new patches we can really start to raise the bar in benchmark videos... Low level fight over London, multiple aircrafts, with good visuals and performance!

NOW i'm REALLY happy! :-P

cool....what bothers me is that I cant run this map (with all video settings set to high; or most of them) with such performance...and Ive got i7920@3.5Ghz, GTX470@750Mhz 1280MB, and 6GB RAM...res is 1680x1050.

Nice videos!

I wonder if, for the sake of immersion, you could sometime make a video without any outside views or zoom, entirely from pilot's perspective?

Thanks!

Tvrdi, we need to lower some settings that don't impact so much in visuals but do wonders in performance! I set Building Detail to "Very Low", Forest to "Low", when recording over London with FRAPS Textures to "High", no grass, Effects and Decals to "Medium"... The sims looks great with these settings and I gain precious FPS!
