What OS? You can try going here and download and install .net 3.5. Hopefully that will fix up whatever is wrong with your .net 2.0.

I have XP and running mozilla firefox. I really dont know what to do here.

http://www.gamersgate.com/index.php?...t=faq&faqcat=7 Bottom of that link....
and this
The following prerequisites are required:
* .NET Framework 2.0 (x86)

So, am I to un-install firefox and install IE just to get to d/l that game or ?

.net has nothing to do with IE or firefox. I am not sure what you are talking about. Try the link I gave and install that, then see if you can install/run the downloader.

Windows Xp, RAM 3G, Nvidia 8800 Gt 512mb (driver 175.19).
I'll try beta driver after i get back from work but really have no idea what the problem is.

Seems like the beta driver (177.92) for my video card solved all my problems.

Hi,
Thanks, that helped :) I was mixing things up - Probably because I was/am so excited about this game. All d/l and working 100% - off to give it a go.

Hello everyone !

Just bought KB today at GamersGate. Nice game btw.

I've been suffering from a problem since the demo. Here are the steps :

1. The game, at first ( three tests ), runs fine.
2. I leave the tutorial area and receive the first quest.
3. Any battle will just lock the game after some minutes. First the game hangs. Drop to desktop where I can't interact with anything ( taskmanager, alt+tab, etc nothing works at all ). The cursor still maintains its form from the game ( a sword ). Since I got no response from the computer I got to boot the thing and start all over again with the same results.

Steps taken to try to resolve the problem :

1. Closed all antivirus, firewall, anti-spyware software with no results.
2. Nothing at the windows event viewer.
3. Already got the latest drivers from video, sound, raid, network.

I've sent an email to 1c support already.

Anybody else got this kind of problem ?

My specs are :

Operating System: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
Motherboard : Gigabyte P35-DS3
Video Card : MSI GeForce 8800 GTX
Sound Card : Realtek HD Audio
Memory : 4GB

Vista 64 bit Pro

I have a question.

If the demo runs just fine on my vista 64 bit Pro setup, is it a safe bet that the game will be OK as well? I would like a little assurance before I purchase it tomorrow. Please advise. Thanks.:)

Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Games\Kings Bounty\game.ini

Change setf ~windowed 0 to setf ~windowed 1

Never done that myself though.

Just tried it, and I set it back to 0 immediately.

Game took forever to load, and was VERY laggy, and I've got a quad-core with 4 gigs.

Plus, the taskbar was hidden so it didn't do me any good anyway.

Invert mouse?

I know its a minor issue, but does anyone know if you can invert the mouse axes for camera control?
