and does the thread on the other tires wear out over successive missions, in the same way that the skin paint weathers ? (would be nice if it did) |

next Q......, do the aircraft tires show wear in parallel with the skin/paint wear and engine wear that has been modeled already ? would be a great little detail, including that worn tires burst more easily in RL. in the same way you need to nurse an aging engine a bit more, you'd also need to be more careful with landings etc because the aging tires could burst more easily |
At least they burst, when you are going to fast!

The screenies over the water are also good, but what is it with the weird colours of the hurri markings? Also, it is much better that you get rid of all icons before you take the screenies. Thanks for posting. |

Do you have this book already read?
"The Last Enemy" by Richard Hillary. Spitfire L1021 XT-M (603 Sqn.) flown by Flt.Off Richard Hillary. Plt Off. Peter Pease in X4277 XT-B. R.Hillary shot down in flames in X4277 XT-M 3.9.1940,baled out with grievous burns. P.Pease shot down in combat 15.9.1940. |
Quote:
Super images Larry  Pease was a friend of Hillary, if my memory is correct? Pease was shot down attacking German bombers. There was a 109 shooting at him from behind, but he continued his attack on the bombers until he was killed. A very good book on this subject is 'The Most Dangerous Enemy'. Best Regards, MB_Avro. |
