Default Camera shake filter?

I see in most good COD video's the guys use alot of camera shake effects for the external cameras -- what effects are they from exactly , like which programs do you use?

I was watching some yesterday and it occurred to me that what makes the movies look so cool is just this one simple effect. If they used the same effect ingame using the F3 'fly by' or the F10 free mouse look mode with zooming in having the most exaggerated shaking then ( just like a real camera does ) then I would be one happy customer.

Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere have them. Not sure about other software.

As for the suggestion to include it into the game I'm against it. It pretty much depends on the dynamics of the simulated viewport. It's not just the shake that makes a "flyby" look so real. Simply going to external camera and panning the image around would not necessarily have the same effect.

I'm not a movie maker but I'm sure it's easier for them to adjust the effect individually instead of having to cope with the game outputting it like that.

I agree though, the camera shake adds a lot to immersion.
