when is this "performance patch" coming

I keep reading a lot of topics saying " don't upgrade till next patch" or "sli in next patch" .... i am just curious cause it seems like i have been reading these for a while now, when is the next patch coming and is it CONFIRMED that SLI will finally be enabled? my SLI GTX460's are itching to start sharing the load haha

Does anyone other than the developers actually know what state the patch is in or what improvements it will have? No.

Does anyone, outside the developers, know if SLI will provide a significant increase in framerate when the new patch? No.

So far the Developers (as well as those making ROF or DCS as far as I know) have recomended a single card over a SLI setup. Will this change when the patch is released? I have no way of knowing and neither has anyone else on this forum.

Many people have hopes and dreams about the 'patch'. but that is all they are.

Will a 50% increase in frame rate make this sim perfect? Not in a long shot! 50% increase in a minimum of 5 frames a second is only 7.5 frames a second!

My upgrade plan is definately a long term proposition. I can run the game acceptably (to me) on my PC, I can avoid areas that cause slow downs, have my settings on at a realistic levels and am having a blast.

IF SLI was proved to provide a significant increase in performance for COD I'ld buy another 460 and go SLI in a jiffy, but until that evidence is available I'll keep the money for a significant upgrade including a card with more vram in a years time.
