Men of War - Campaigns not playable

I just bought Men of War through Steam. The description says we can play all sides, including German and Allies. But in the game, only the Russian campaign is playable. The other campaigns including Bonus single missions are grayed out and not playable. Was the description misleading? Or do the campaigns open up one by one as you play them?

The other campaigns unlocks as you process forward in the Russian campaign.

You only need to win the first Russian mission, or I think just load it up and play through some of it...why they did it that way, we will never know.
