Default Yaaay! Got my CloD Collector's Edition today....

not sure I wanna open it though. Maybe I'll save it in mint condition. Already have my standard DVD version installed so.

I'd leave it mint if I were you addman. The box itself is the best bit - very nicely made. Sadly, the map falls way short of the 'replica' mark and the pilot's notes has printing errors.

Congrats addman. Go on and treat yourself to the smell of freshly unwrapped plastic and cardboard, enjoy the goodies inside!

Plus the game on the disk is not the one we play and with Steam it is useless. On the plus side it looks good on my shelf.

Open it mate!

The stuff inside is maybe not up to some people's exacting standards, but it's fun to thumb through and to look at.

I doubt there'll ever be any real value gained by keeping it pristine.

Go on.............you know you want to!

I wasn't that interested in the content of the Collectors edition but bought it just to support the new series. The cost of the collectors edition is minuscule to the possible entertainment value of the new series. Many of us haven't had much entertainment yet, but the performance patch, subsequent features, theaters, longevity game engine design should make this new series far more entertaining than the original.

I purchased Cliffs of Dover through Steam - not all that long ago now -paid full price, but man this looks tempting, I would not mind having the documentation and a printed copy of the manual.
