Yeah I've taken a liking to the Hurricane, though I always have like the Hurricane since watching the Battle of Britain. But since learning about the Yak-3, and other Soviet planes. I've grown more towards them, obviously.

Downside to the Hurricane, is its canopy. I don't like having all that metal around me. lol

For every con theirs a pro

109 cockpit has a much better field of view, thats the pro.

The con -

the cockpit lifts open, so trying to bail out isnt as easy as with the hurricane which slides open

then you get the yak and the LA series....

great all round vision and the ability to slide open.... dirty russians lol

I didnt call it shit

i called it a shitfire

its much like the rivalry between the 360 and the PS3, it happens. Well this is the hurricane and spitfire rivalry, its all in good humour and jest.

And as a side note, i like how you said "one of" and not "the" as we all know the hurricane was the top dog in that dept......

Im joking before you give me grief lol, i would comfortably say that after 1940 the spitfire was our (and possibly THE best fighter in the world) greatest fighter.

That is completely inaccurate. We all know the Yak-3 was the BEST fighter in the world. At least I think so, and the rest of the Soviet Red Air Force (wherever they may be?)

I really dont mean to give you grief

I must have got the wrong end of the stick.

I humbly apologise for that. Plus i couldnt agree more the Hurricane (of which i also am a huge fan of) would go somewhat unrivaled in the theatre of war.

Much respect, Gaz.

no woories gaz its all in good humour around here.

Soviet ace, if this game was anything to go by then the best dogfighter would be the LA-7 without a shadow of a doubt, closely followed by the B17 hahahaha, as for the mustang, well...... all the films and history book and veterans must of got it wrong, waaayyyy wrong, because in this game it sucks.

Personally, I like the sound of the p-40 Warhawk. Hurricane sounds like a pretty good name for an aircraft too.

But in the words of a comedian the hurricane can be described as "exciting at first but ends in disaster."

Just kidding, I love the hurricane. However I've fallen in love with the La-7 now.

Like I've said before. Speed isn't everything you know. Just take the I-16 for example. Great little maneuverable plane, and some good fire power to match! Only downside is speed and non-fuel injection. lol

Anyway, point is. I would take the Yak-3 over the La-7 anyday. Game or not.
