Default Show us your Banners....

I love looking at everyone's banners... I made several for myself, and just thought it would be cool to have a thread specific to checking everyone's banner out.. I think we should even have a banner contest... Points for originalality, plane image, text or slogan, unit patch etc... Let's see what you have.. Post the banner art, or image in your message so we can get a better look at them... Submit up to 3 banners.... maybe even what inspired yours..

My P-47 banner: I love the P-47. I use it allot in strike missions, and a few friends called my Thunderbolt "Steel Rain" awhile back. The patch is inspired by my love of WWII era "Pin Up" girls... While I served in the Air Force, a nurse once told me while I was getting a shot (I have always hated needles) "Oh shut up you big baby. The louder you scream, the more I love it..." and I just loved that quote from her and a modified version of that just fit.

The LA-7 is my plane of choice for CTA, and I have gotten pretty lethal in that game with my little bomblets if I have to say so myself... <grin>

Mine suck right now, I just ripped them from google images. If there's going to be a contest I'll get working on a real cool one though.

I'd like to hear the story behind yours, lol.

Meanwhile I'm trying to find a way to incorporate the B-25 and the P-51 into one sig and make it look good...

LOL, I'd like to know too honestly. I'm pretty sure it started when a buddy of mine was playing around with clan tags on CoD4 trying to see what "explicit" tags would work. Well, this one stuck

EDIT: For your problem, try to make a P-51 escorting a B-25 (I know nothing about WWII and if that even happened back then, haha)

Started out with mine to have a seraph see-through on the plane, but ended up just using the wings covering the 'face and feet'.

@Tudorp, read in the other post you actually made it yourself. As in, you drew them? I mean, I stole the La image and added the wings.
P.S. @ Silence, you might want to reduce the size of the sig a bit, now it's a bit.. overdone . No offense
