Disappearing cursor of mouse in 3D cocpit - idea
Hi
I created new thread as new feature: http://www.il2bugtracker.com/issues/292 . If You like it please vote it. Reason: Perhaps its good idea - if You dont touch mouse (mouse/cursor for operations in 3D cocpit), after 10-15 seconds cursor of mouse will be disappearing if Im in virtual cocpit. This function works very well and will be work like cursor in Flight Simulator X. If You touch a mouse and start to move cursor again, it will be displayed again. Good? I always have cursor near my nose sure, can move him to left/right corner but why? Easy tool for programmers.

Pretty good i'd say. What would be best is if the invisible cursor would still activate pop-up tooltips.
This way, even with the cursor being invisible you could still get pop-ups displaying instrument information. Then you could use it with your view controls too to scan your instruments: place cursor in the center of the screen, wait for it to disappear and then you can get a read-out of each instrument by looking at it, without having the cursor displaying in the center of your screen. |

I'd not like that. But if they made both of this optional, we'd all be happy. |

You know, there's a control "Toggle Independent Mode" that makes the mouse cursor appear/disappear? If you assign it to something on your joystick, it's right within reach and less intrusive than a timer based system. alternately, you could put the mouse pointer in one of the corners so its not in the middle of your screen.

Alternatively....pressing F10 will make the mouse cursor vanish too, pressing it again will bring it back
