I need help to make a better army composition.

Hi guys, this is my first time here, so be merciful :p Ok, this is my problem: I don't know how to make a good army composition. I've just arrived in Ellinia and my army consist of: bowman, horsemen, inquisitor and evil beholders. My character is a mage (18th level). Any idea? Many thanks!

P.S.: Sorry for my bad English, but it isn't my mother tongue.
