Your "odd" BoP moments!

I was in a online dogfight, had just respawned at a good altitude and was looking down towards the sea to see the five or six guys all lined up down there, firing at each other. So I dive in aiming at the last guy of the queue. By the time I got there, evrybody was pretty messed up (exept that last guy) but noone had crash yet. So I manage to take out a few planes until I get on the 6 of the 2nd guy in line. His plane is riddled with bullet holes and I see him strugglin to keep the thing in the air, flying only feet above the water. So I decide to let him go down and concentrate on the first guy, since I was going to overshoot him anyways. But just as I putt the throttle up, I see his plane dive in the water and then poop right back out!!! - I overshoot - he fires a short burst and I go down in flames. Guess there was some lag at the precise instant the guys changed pitch inches above the water... but I distinctivly saw his plane "flying" underwater, and coming out just to shoot me as if nothing ever happened.
