Default Getting the G940 ministick to work in IL2?

Hi!

Is there anyone that has been able to get the ministick on the G940 joystick top to work as a view control in IL2? I can get it to work as a "hotas control" like zoom but there is none for view...

If not - what do you use the ministick for in IL2?

Regards /Mazex

I've been wondering the same, is there any game I can assign that mini joystick to? That would be so awesome as a 'view stick'.

I prefer this utility - called Joy2Key - to map a POV to mouse axes.

It doesn't read all buttons and axes from HOTAS. So You have to find the right ones
2 configs they work for me are in the zipped attachment. Extract to Your Joy2Key folder.

This maybe a bit obscure, but about those mini-sticks...

When you use the 'Logitech Gaming Software' profiler to adjust and calibrate and apply profiles to the G940, you're asked, when calibrating, to use the mini-stick to move the cursor to the corners of a little square. Does this actually work for any of you?

If you know what I'm talking about, I can never get the mini-stick to move the cursor into the corners of the square, it just ends up drawing a rough octagon in the square. And I've never been able to use the mini-stick in any game I've played, so I don't know what range of movement it's supposed to provide and if, in my case, whether it's actually working properly or not.

Has anyone got the cursor moving into the corners, or moving at its full range in any game? Just wondering.

It is as You describe but I can map the mini-stick axes in every DCS Sim.

Okay, thanks, seems the mini-stick is working normally then. I must admit too, thinking about it later, I realized I haven't actually tried to use the mini-stick in more than one or two programs, so it may well work properly in most for all I know.
