Dark screen, making the game unplayable

Hello, i just started playing King's bounty recently and whenever i start it up i get a dark screen, yet it shows icons and flames still(see attachment). This keeps on happining in King's bounty crossworlds and king's bounty armored princess. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My specs are in the DXDIAG.
