Default Cryostasis slowdowns resolved this way! Read!

Hello,
first of all sorry for my English as I'm Italian. I read in this forum that most of you have serious slowdowns problems with Cryostasis. I want you to say that there is a way to completely resolve these problems if you have a Nvidia graphics card (at least series eight). I tried on myself and I completely resolved all the slowdowns and framerate drops in the game: the only thing you have to do is to download this driver (9.09.040)http://www.nvidia.it/object/physx_9....8_whql_it.html after having applied the common patch v1.1 that you can find here http://download.nvidia.com/downloads...hysX_Patch.exe
Remember, only two things: 1) patch 1.1; 2) driver (9.09.040). That's all!
Before, I had to play the game 1024x768, all settings medium and pixel shader 3.0 to get acceptable framerate with my geforce 9800 GTX+ and qx9300. Now, with this method I can play very well at 1920x1200, all settings high and pixel shader 4.0: no framerate drops, no slowdowns! I finished the game with no problems! All levels will run properly! Just try and let me know! I hope this can help!

This does not solve the massive frame rate drops on a 64-bit OS. The game still stutters badly without full multi-core support.

I use win7 64 bit and the game runs perfectly on my geforce 9800 GTX+ with the last PhysX patch

Yeah try running everything on maximum at 1920x1080 then we'll see if it runs perfect.

So do you have advanced physx turned ON as well as physx hardware ON? Most of the time i get 40-60fps with both physx options turned OFF. But when i have them turned ON i get massive stuttering and delay. I punched an icicle and the game actually froze for 3 seconds before the icicle finally shattered. Physx in this game is completely broken for me.

lol @ 1440x900. Even Crysis can be maxed out at 1440x900 coz that res doesn't take much graphics card strength to pull off.

no problem with PhysX patch 0814. With previous PhysX patches i get some slowdowns. You have to install last PhysX patch. That's smooth and playable for me with last PhysX patch, even at full hd res with all filters ON
