Default Any ideas of tactics..?

Hi all !

I've completed so far 24 battles out of 30 (score so far 4450 points (only lost 4 groups in all the battles)).

I'm still having some trouble figuring out how to prevent a bloodshed at the battles of bouvines (5th in the french campaign) and the third battle of the mongol campaign (you have 3 corps one of them on the other side of the river)

At Bouvines, you don't have any archers.... so the usual tactic I have to fire at point blank range can't work.
I try to retreat my pikemen behind the bridge and to launch some cavalery assaults from behind (my cavalery wait behind the hills while AI is advancing toward the bridge)

Well it's a victory a la pyrrhus....

And for the mongol battle, the whole AI army advance and every time I try I can't split it in small parts... And the size of the army make really difficult to avoid another bloodshed..

Any ideas?
