Okay, but here's my question....what was the speed of the aircraft in that video?

From the RAF website:

"The Hawker Hurricane was the first operational R.A.F. aircraft capable of a top speed in excess of 300 m.p.h"

The video below shows what objects look like at 195mph low on the deck:

So I'm guessing that the Hurricane was ticking over?

Is there a video showing what the ground will look like when being flown over at speed?

This is Wings of Prey (view at 20-second mark and 2min 35secs) and see the ground move pretty fast:

Secondly, is there any footage that shows weather effects from cockpit view?

Check this video out from 1-minute in:

Hoping to see more updates from this show re. effects and speed, cheers, MP

View angle was very narrow which reduces the sense of speed. I think it's safe to say that all objects and the map will be 1:1 scale, and object density and texture resolution pretty high, so you can expect that the feeling of speed will be as good as possible within the limits of using a monitor with limited peripheral vision (assuming you don't have a projection dome in your basement )

Never liked that effect myself - looks completely fake and out of place to me Anyway, I think weather effects aren't fully tuned yet and have been mostly absent from the Igromir version (referring to what I've read at the sukhoi.ru forum, at least as far as I could decipher it )

So BoB is the first flight simulation using Speed Tree? (beside the helicopter game "Whirlwind over Vietnam") Maddox Games must really do magics using this resource hog, I guess.
