Exclamation Is it possible to reach the top level?

Seeing how near the end of the game there are simply NO enemies to fight anymore in all the areas of the game?
There should be at least some spawning enemies in all areas you have visited before just like in Titan Quest, a game that never run out of enemies and allowed to gain XP points.
Sorry if this topic has been raised before but I couldn't find it, maybe this can be fixed in a future update as this severely limits the playability of this fine game.

Try gremlins castle or surpressing items, one person on this forum reached lvl 31 already

Yeah, but I "cheated" that through the bugged item tactics treatise (morale gets to 0 and never gets better, allowing unlimited suppressions), and suffice to say, it took how many was it... 1830 something suppressions (on impossible) and more than a reat-time day to do it?

I do admit I was bored and I do admit I have no problem grinding, but I wouldn't recommend doing such feats of stupidity. Looking back at it, I may well get into the american show "what were you thinking?"

Here's the link for the topic. The Max XP will never go over the value you'll see on the screenshots.

Hi All,

I don't believe that it should be too difficult.

I just finished a game on impossible at lvl 28. The key here would be to level up the "learning" skill on the mind tree at the VERY beginning of the game. This would increase your XP by an incremental 10% beyond the lvl 1 that most peeps do.

If i add 10% to the lvl 28 it almost gets me to lvl 31 and i left almost all the stacks in demonis untouched as well as most of the stack in Murdock.

my .02 cents.

cheers,
DW

That's not so simple because the xp given by a fight is dependent of the player level (and most probably that's not dependent of the stack relative size so it's probably useless to attempt fight with reduced stacks to get more xp).

From various players attempt quote in this forum it seems that it's impossible to reach level 31 without to exploiting a random bug.

But that's the point, level 30 is the max, the game mechanism allows higher level but that's pure mechanical, the game mechanics probably also allow level 100... and then use monster regen just to reach level 100? Tedious and pointless.

That's wrong, exploiting a bug, and that's even one you aren't sure to get, doesn't count. Max level isn't 31 but 30.

You can hit 31 on easy, because it's only 500k XP to get there. In addition to that, 31 is the absolute max. If you hit 31 and fight, you won't get any more experience, since you've reached the cap. I did a few more suppressions of the treatise just to make sure of that.

I was well aware that some people would jump at me for exploiting a bug. I did it for fun, bordering with insanity and stupidity. I still like what happened.

Vilk, with all due respect mate - max level is 31. The game says so. The fact that you can't hit it even if you clean up the entire map on normal, hard or impossible is irrelevant.

Sadly, you cannot gain over 30 level with the spirits of rage either. I am playing now with the paladin on impossible. My hero has almost 27 lvl on Demonis (I have to kill Baal, I've already defeated Xeona), day 14. All I want to say is Lina and The Reaper have 30 lvl. The combination Rage draining-Gizmo was very effective, imagine 3 gizmo's on the battlefield at the same time, each one doing 1000-2000 points damage. Lina could reach at least 32 lvl.

Maybe 1C took a point and that's why they made the dragon in KBAP (same as the spirits of rage) to level up to 50 at first (you character can get up to 60) and then with patch 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 made it level up to 60 as well. That way you don't get to use lower level helper skills that would do little or no harm to the enemy.
