Engine Stopping problem
In a random way (or it seems to me random) when i load a dogfight mission or sometimes during a mission also, when i press I, insthead to say starting engine, it says stopping engine.
That is really making me upset, cause obviously doesn't let me start the engine, also with the correct procedure. Does anyone know how to solve that or it is a simple and irritating bug to solve? |

The 'I' button is a toggle. If you press it when the engine is on the engine turns off. It is unusual to want to turn off a perfectly good engine in flight!
The manual state that some aircraft require external help to start the engine, if your flying then I guess your options are limited. Cheers! |

I had the same problem.
The plane is parked, the startup procedure is right but "sometimes" I get the Engine Stopping alert.

A whole generation of pilots learned to treasure the Spitfire for its delightful response to aerobatic manoeuvres and its handiness as a dogfighter. Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria. |
