there stats are so far off that they must be mistaking them for a different tank from what i understand of the African campaign none of the allied tanks could stand up to the type 4 g' 75mm main gun, much less the 88's and i have had both those guns bounce shots off of the allied tanks repeatedly ( in one case i saw a lee take 6-8 75mm hits 3-4 to main body 2-3 to turret). But my most favorite screw up has to be when the 88 hit one of the British armored scout cars from the second German mission and bounced it at less then 20 m lol.

* Caliber: 75 mm L/46
* Rifling: 32 Grooves, right-hand increasing twist, 1/24 to 1/18.
* Length with the carriage: 6.2 meters (20.3 ft)
* Length: 3.45 meters (11.3 ft)
* Width: 2 meters (6.6 ft)
* Height: 1.25 meters (4.1 ft)
* Weight (combat ready): 1,425 kilograms (3,142 lb)
* Traverse: 65°
* Elevation: -5° to + 22°
* Rate of fire: 14 rounds per minute
* Muzzle velocity:
o 933 meters per second (3,061 ft/s) (Tungsten cored round)
o 792 meters per second (2,598 ft/s) (Standard armor piercing)
o 550 meters per second (1,804 ft/s) (HE)
* Engagement range: 1,800 meters (5,906 ft)
* Indirect range: 7,678 meters (25,190 ft) m (HE shell)
* Projectile weight: 3.18 kilograms (7.0 lb) to 6.8 kilograms (15.0 lb)
* Armor penetration (at 90 degrees) at 500 meters (1,640 ft):
o 132 millimeters (5 in) (Standard armor piercing)
o 154 millimeters (6 in) (Tungsten cored round)

no part of those tanks are that thick and i was closer then that when i fired the gun.

what was the first post lol?

i don't want a simulator, it just be nice if the action in the game match the action in ww2. I'm seriously expecting tigers and tiger 2's to be taken out by Sherman tanks from the front at ranges exceeding 3000 m . When anyone knows the kill range for a Sherman tank on a panzer VI tiger mk1 was 150 m from the rear or side, later models had thicker side and rear armor and caused the kill range to be significantly lower. the only Sherman that could hit a tiger at range was the firefly and it was limited to 700-900 m at best.

if your going to make a game about real events have the courtesy to honor those people whom died on both sides by doing it right, because all you do is dishonor there sacrifices.

no stupid people will watch the really bad 50ies movies and then play dumb poorly made games just like this and then make assumptions on how ww2 really was fought. they make irrational claims like if the German equipment is so weak why did Poland, France and Thr British commonwealth have so much trouble with them. Obviously they we're not as good and brave as they thought. Only due to American and Soviet intervention did this get better.

Man, it's only a game. Relax and enjoy (or not, it's up to you).

Well welcome to the art of computer gaming, first rule that you always have to remember is that the Ai cheats.
They have homing bullets, full awareness and do not play fair, and there is ALWAYS a chance for that "Lucky killshot" by any tank, Hell, you can even find that your modded Maus gets splattered by a puny Sherman.

In short, you need to plan accordingly, lure the Ai into a trap they think is easy pickings, shoot off one of their threads or tracks and then line up for turret shots (Aim for a turret destroyed.) and as soon as the crew evacuates, repair the track, take it to safety and crew up and finish any repairs before you use their OWN hardware against them.
This is what makes MoW the most fun, as for realism? Sorry you are in the wrong camp, MoW have tried to aim for balance and fun gameplay and they have achieved that as me and a buddy have proven by COUNTLESS of hours in Coop.
