Default Is My Joystick Broken?

Having some problems with the Force Feedback on my joystick.

I run a Saitek Cyborg Evo Force.

I have owned it for atleast 4 years now and it still works as far as buttons, throttle and all axis are concerned however when i recently tried to turn the Force Feedback back on i noticed it was not working.
I can set up the resistance in the Control Panel<Controllers<Properties section but when i go to test forces i get the sound, then light but no movement from the joystick.

Back in the day when i spawned in, let say airstart the stick would kick back as if the FF was on, it no longer does that even though in Hardware<Input it is on.

I have checked in my conf ini and FF=1 which is believe is correct.

Am i to believe that the FF motors in this stick are dead or is this a problem i can solve?

I am running Windows XP.
IL2 4.10.1 No Mods

Cheers
Mini

Check that power is still getting to the stick. Also use Game Controllers in the control panel to test FFB. If no good the FFB is dead. Buy a new stick and turn you old on into a button bay
