Default GTX 660 Ti 2gb Vs. HD 7950 OC 3gb

Hi, i would like change graphic card. I have 2 options, which is the best option for CloDo?

Option a: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 OC 3GB GDDR5 950 MHz

Option b: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Ti OC 2GB GDDR5

My specs:

- AMD Phenom x4 3,2 ghz
- MB Gigabyte GA-970A-D3
- 2 x 4gb Kingston 1600 mhz.
- Packard Bell Viseo 230 1920x1080 60 hz.
- Saitek X52 + Saitek Pro Pedals
- Thermaltake Power Supply 700w

Thanks.

Get the 7950 is my recommendation. Currently CloD uses more than 2 gb video ram.

But, have things (in CloD) that "only ATi do for you".

CloD runs great now in my GTX 560Ti with just 1GB VRAM.

2GB is good enough for CloD...

"CloD runs great now in my GTX 560Ti with just 1GB VRAM."

Umm .. I assume you mean relative to the way the game was running before, rather than in absolute terms? I ask because I use a 7950 OC 3g, which runs the game pretty well I think. However, if I maxed everything out, (and I mean everything) I would be down to about 25 frames or less in some parts of the game. So unless the 560 TI is actually a better card than the 7950 (which I doubt, but maybe it is for all I know) the expression "runs great" may require a bit of elaboration.

Just curious, does everyone with a 79xx really suffers from this issue? I'm currently in the process of upgrading my card and if this issue happens with all 79xx cards, that would rule those cards out for me.

Is there anyone who had that problem and managed to fix it somehow?
