I wouldn't bother contacting ubi. Even removing their logo makes CoD run better...

i don think this will help..but who knows

Quote:
Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).

Delete all of the files in this folder except:

The Steamapps folder and Steam.exe (If 'exe' is not visible, look for the black and white Steam icon)

Restart your computer.

Then, you will need to launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut.

With Steam running, re-test the original issue.

Note: This process will not affect your currently installed games.

If the issue persists, view the following article for further troubleshooting:

Title: Troubleshooting Network Connectivity
Link: http://support.steampowered.com/kb_a...1456-EUDN-2493

Please follow all suggestions in this article, even if your network appears to be functioning correctly.

Good news: there responding
Bad News: its like talking to a wall...

I know from working in technical support that you have to run through some base test to eliminate the obvious...but when i say OVER AND OVER that you are logging ALL of us off at the same time you would think something would click and they might start looking at THERE end.....

Yeah.. technical support always does everything to blame the end user.. frustrating but a seemingly universal strategy. But somewhat understandable.

Keeps us informed please.. due to this issue combined with MP sounds I've given up constantly restarting our server. Waste of time.

I don't think the support we need might be reached by us - mortals. Customer support can only answer to our simple questions regarding steam client and so on, however we need more technical help, which can only be provided by Steam SDK/integration support team, which is probably reachable only if you are game dev.

Did you send them some server logs like this one? maybe they can look up what the error codes mean?

Code:
[18:38:26]	SteamServer: onP2PSessionConnectFail:76561198039642166
[18:38:26]	SteamServer: onP2PSessionConnectFail:76561198027260141
[18:38:26]	SteamServer: onP2PSessionConnectFail:76561197985595633
[18:38:26]	SteamServer: onP2PSessionConnectFail:76561197970791059
[18:38:26]	SteamServer: onP2PSessionConnectFail:76561198040037589
According to BigRepa btw 3 Repka servers were not logged off from Steam simultaneously after the recent patch. And he has much less disconnects in general.

interesting...the logs i sent were from steam not the game (unique ID removed).
the logs from the server are about the server not steam and the error codes you see for P2P are about players not the connection to steam.
