desert stronghold

i´ve completed all the objectives, but i can´t get into the stronghold.

there are some secondary objectives left; 'sink the battle ship' and 'sink the transport'

i´ve sunk three transports, but they keep comming, do i have to sink a curtain amount or?

i´ve sunk a ship with howitsers on, and can´t see any other, where is it?

main subject, how do i get the game to progress?

You have to sink all transporters and the battleship (the one, with the guns on it). If one transporter reaches the stronghold you won't be able to sink it and you'll have to retry. But you really have to sink the ships. If they still are on the water and the icon turns yellow on the map after a few hits, the objective isn't completed. Just shoot at them a few more times and they'll sink.

I can't see any ships even though Im on the coast. How can I see the ships or is this just some bug?

Enemy landing craft attacks every now and then but that's all.

They are big ships man, focus on water.

Put some tanks into the water . they can hit the barges from there. back them up with 88s and heavy guns.

Anyone has a saved game for the part where you shoot transport ships... ?I've been on it for days and it's becoming frustrating. If anyone could send me the savegame, it would be much appreciated.

I also had problems with this one at first but after following Badger's suggestion (see image below) I was able to sink them all...

Put all 3 Field guns as close to the water you can. Then target the ships as the pass. When you reach 6 ships and one battleship the game carries on.

ps: keep 1/2 tanks to fend off the never ending boats that try to reach the beach.
