Need a lil help

Just got this game and so far its been pretty good to me, no FPS issues or anything. I do have a question though while flying in the game, how do I turn off that transparent event menu thats stuck in the top left corner, also the red time font in the top center? They are really annoying and distract from everything else.

Yes that left grey thing is a classic...
keep ALT key pressed, and right mouse click on the grey window (or the red text - it is also a window!) in order to select that window.
Now you can resize the window, move it elsewhere, change the contents shown or simply delete it.

juat remove all the boxes on screen and you will have a better flying experience
In my opinion you dont need them, and they are realy annoying
