Trying to patch Non Steam version and getting error:

"The Setup has detected that no version of Off-Road Drive is installed."

"The Update requires a previous version of the game to be installed."
Setup cannot continue

Any ideas? have done a complete reinstall and tried running patch from within game directory.

Windows 7 64
AMD X3 2.9ghz
2gb DDR3 RAM
Geforce GTS 450

Did you right click on the patch, and run it as admin? (Even though you might be the only one who uses the computer, thus being the admin, you sometimes still have to do it that way...)

I have the same problem. Setup was run as administrator, but I still the above error...

the patch is pointless for non steam version as in another persons post, it doesnt doo anything and wont work.
