My MSFFB2 has been going strong for about 6 years and I also bought a back up off of ebay earlier on today "just in case".

Basically if it ever breaks I don't want a different joystick as this IMHO is still the best; some sticks may have more features but for sheer long life, ease of use and reliability I think you'll find that this stick is hard to beat.

I was using the MSFF and MSFF2. They were good sticks (and I still have them) but I switched to the CH Fighterstick and have loved it ever since. There is a rumble pad that you can put under your stick to give that FF feel, but it still will not give you that stick feel when you are near a stall...you know, when your stick starts to get all "floppy" when you loose airspeed. That is the one feature I really liked about the MSFF sticks.
The one thing I really like about the CH Fighterstick is how it fits my hand, and the many buttons it has (24). It is a good quality stick that I have been using for about 5 years, and still going strong, with no signs of wear.

I keep thinking about ordering one of these...

http://www.gogamer.com/viewproduct.h...&extid=Froogle

Gogamer still has some "new old stock" FF Sidewinders...

The only problem is they don't ship out of the US. I was hoping to buy one my self but I'm in Canada.

Quote from their site: GoGamer does not ship to International Destinations at this time. All orders placed on Friday with overnight shipping will be delivered on Monday. FedEx Saturday delivery is available.

that sucks... I guess you don't have any American friends(?)...then you could have it shipped to their house and then they ship it to you.

Sorry to hear of the death...I use the CH line and can highly recomend their products. You could if wanted to, buy a new un-used MSFFB on e-bay. What the heck, buy two

Tip from a stickmodder: Buy another joystick and a USB-rumble-pad (ebay <5$), connect the pad to the base of the joystick and plug them both in. Forcefeedback-joystick complete.
