how to the mission unrecognized genius ?

I am doing the mission unrecognized genius and i am the place where we have to go to XT 24 to abadoned MSF station.I reach there and killed all ships except that pirate who is controling that transport which is not indicated as my enemy.I don't know what to do after that nothing happens,I even tried to attack that transport but the game ends means i fail the mission and taken back to main menu.

This is the one where you're rescueing ternie right? As it played out for me, as soon as I got near the abandoned msf base, the guy there started begging for his life and told me to fly to the pirate base to the north. When I got there I shot everything up (like you do

) and "won" the mission.

thanks for help but when i restarted from a save point before this mission the game worked sorry for disturbance.
