How to Bypass Tutorial?

Does anyone have a way to skip the tutorials and go directly to Missions?

The game is stuck on the very first stage of the tutorials and won't go any further....just free flight in am empty sky with no way to end without starting all over

I get to the point where the "instructor" tell me to bank my wings and that's it, no more instructions, no more progress

I can fly fine, I don't need the tutorials, is there a way to skip them?

not as far as i know. you have to complete them to unlock the rest. if you are on PS3 i hear there is a file floating around that could help you. if you are on xbox...you are going to have to keep plugging away. i remember mine stalled out on something and i just flew around and did maneuvers and if gave me a mission complete! try rebooting from the very beginning...other than that dont know what to tell you.

I'm on XBOX so I guess I'm hosed.... have started and restarted the game a dozen times, stuck in the same spot every time

I think its time to pull the plug....

I never had a problem with the tutorials. There were a couple of places where I was a little bit confused but just follow the instructions and it should work out fine.

Are you doing the tutorials in Realistic or Sim mode?

I assume the important issue here is you being able to give commands to your wingmen and/or respond in a reasonable way to the orders given by your wingcommander. My experience is that it's aquestion of control-settings, and it depends on wether you use a stick or the ps3-ctrler. Happy flying mate!

sigh... no luck so far, just don't know what it is expecting me to do as it stops
giving commands after the "bank your wings" part....the instructor acknowledges that input but then stops talking, so I can't go any further

using the XBOX version BTW, with standard controller

are there any patches that I need to install etc that might be relevant?

Tough luck mate. The only patch around is for the PS3.
Disc-check is next I guess...
