So I installed (In order):

  1. IL-2 1946 v4.07
  2. HSFX 6.0
  3. IL-2 1946 v4.12
  4. HSFX 7.0

and all I get is a splash screen that stays up for about 20seconds and it never gets past 5%.

No I do know already about the missing .SFS files. Someone said just use the ones from HSFX 6.0, which I did.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

My desktop is set to 'Windows Classic' mode (less strain on video card).

I used the trick to get it to display in 1920 x 1080ppi. Is that is what is holding me up or is it something else?

Screen capture included.

Thank you in advance!

Why did you install HSXF6.0?
Mine is a fresh 4.07m install from disc, patches up to 4.12.2m, then HSFX7.0 - no HSFX6.0.
What "trick" do you mean? 4.12 runs 1920x1080 already.

I'm having an issue where one of my squadmates tries to join me via direct IP connection, and it says I have a different version of the game/HSFX.

We are both on 4.12.2 and HSFX 7.0.1 and both have the same mods activated in JSGME

HSFX history mod
Hakenkruez enabler
Perfect map textures

We have checked our installs multiple times and it still does not work. Had no issues like this with HSFX 6.

Any ideas?

The autoupdater says my version of C++ is too new! I have no idea how to downgrade. Any way around this?

you installed hsfx 7 on a clean version of 4:12?

I think the best place to know about it would be here.
